Hello

Logan Foster is a New York based librettist, composer, and performer originally from Concord, North Carolina. He gained his love of music and storytelling from his mother who raised him with the radio on and a book always open.

Logan was introduced to the world of theatre when he and his sister were hiding from teachers after school in order to avoid any charges for after-school-care and found themselves put to work backstage on a production of "And Then There Were None." Don't have to pay someone to watch your kids if they're painting a set.

After performing all through High School and earning his GED, Logan went to Elon University where he earned his BFA in Musical Theatre. After Graduation, Logan worked around the country at such venues as the Asolo Rep and the Berkeley Rep before moving to NYC in January of 2020 (great timing bud).

Since the pandemic, Logan has performed around the country and in NYC, written three one act musicals and one full length, and is now an alumnus of the BMI Lehman Engel Music Theatre Workshop as a Lyricist. Some of his favorite things are trail running, working out, iced coffee, Texas BBQ (sorry NC), and meeting new interesting people most everywhere he goes.

News/Upcoming

  • Logan has been accepted to The Chateau d'Orquevaux Artists and Writers Residency in France.

  • Logan has been offered a spot as an Artist in Residence with the Skeleton Rep for April 2026.
